Oxafert 16-2-6 20kg Information
Oxafert 16-2-6 20kg is a combined convenient, ready-to-use fertiliser and pre-emergent herbicide product for the control of annual grass weeds including Summer Grass, Crowsfoot Grass, Winter Grass and Creeping Oxalis.
Oxafert is also ideal as a fertiliser in your lawn where Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium are required.
It is important to only use Oxafert when both functions – such as a fertiliser and herbicides – are needed. Established weeds will not be controlled by Oxafert.
Oxafert is suitable to be used on Zoysia, Kikuyu, Couch and Buffalo.
Application Rates
Application rates of 3-4kg/100sqm of Oxafert must occur prior to weeds germinating. 20kg bag of Oxafert will cover up to 500sqm. An application of Oxafert is expected to control germinating weed seedlings for up to 10 weeks.
Oxafert is best applied by a fertiliser spreader to ensure even application and irrigated thoroughly once applied.
After application of Oxafert, water in with at least 10mm of sprinkler irrigation. Avoid application of Oxafert when daytime temperatures are consistently above 32°C.

- Oxadiazon – 10g/kg
- Polybutene – 10.5g/kg
Caution
Oxafert contains the micronutrient Iron. Iron may stain concrete, pathways, masonry, and other hard surfaces. Apply Oxafert with caution around these surfaces. Brush or blow from these surfaces promptly. Do not use water to remove Oxafert from these surfaces.
DO NOT mow treated areas until the Oxafert has been watered in and the lawn foliage has dried.
DO NOT mix Oxafert granules with the soil.
DO NOT apply Oxafert granules when the lawn foliage is wet.
DO NOT apply Oxafert to newly laid lawn.
DO NOT apply Oxafert if rapid storm run-off from treated areas is likely to occur within several days of application.
