BroadForce MA 500mL is a selective liquid Herbicide for the control of Bindii, Creeping Oxalis, Thistles, Clover and other weeds and has the active ingredients – Bromoxynil as the octanoate (200g/L), and MCPA (200g/L) present as the ethyl hexyl ester. It also contains the solvent liquid Hydrocarbon (343g/L).
BroadForce MA 500mL is suitable for Kikuyu, Couch and Buffalo grasses at an applicate rate with a sprayer of 30mL per 5-10L of water per 50m2. With a watering can or sprinkler bar the application rate is 30mL per 10-20L of water per 50m2. The 500mL pack treats 800 m2 in total.
BroadForce MA provides quick weed knockdown as well as being one of the broadest spectrum Broadleaf Weed Herbicides available for the lawn care market.
For best application, first measure your lawn area. Then evenly apply (with a spray kit, watering can or sprinkler bar) over the area to be treated while weeds are actively growing. Weeds will die slowly with effects taking up to 3 weeks to appear.
Repeat spray applications after 3 to 4 weeks, may be necessary, to control advanced weeds or certain types of Clover. Note that slight browning of grass may occur under hot conditions.
Other weeds BroadForce MA 500mL controls are; Jo-Jo (Onedhunga), Cudweed, Dandelion, Catsear, Plantains, Capeweed, Creeping Buttercup and Fleabane.
To prepare BroadForce MA 500mL herbicide, half fill the sprayer or watering can with water, add the required amount of product, stir thoroughly then add the remainder of the water. Always, wash your equipment thoroughly after use.
- DO NOT apply during hot or windy conditions, or if rain is expected within 24 hours.
- DO NOT apply if shade temperatures are expected to exceed 30°C within a 72-hour period.
- DO NOT apply when soil is dry, and lawn is suffering from moisture stress.
- DO NOT mow or fertilise for 7 days before or after application
For more effective results, use BroadForce MA 500mL Herbicide with Wetter 600 – which is found in specialty products.
